As a person who has always been a lover of food, world cuisine and for cooking, I had the passion to look for a product I could sell. That is when a friend introduced me to the Swedish cuisine.
To really get an idea of the Swedish cuisine you have to visit Sweden and that is how it all came about for me! I travelled to Ljungby, Sweden, in October 2014 where I tasted a Swedish Hamburger and found out how awesome it was. I remember thinking ‘why aren’t the burgers at home like this?’! So when a friend said to me ‘why don’t you try making them yourself’. So I enquired and asked the people of Sweden for a recipe and I found out that by combining the Pork and Beef you get an extremely tasty Swedish Hamburger! That is what makes it Swedish because you have the combination of the two meats in the burger. I came home eager and ready to start making my hamburgers and making them ‘my own’. Over time, I have gradually perfected what for me is the awesome ‘Original Swedish Hamburger’.
I was also introduced to Swedish meatballs which are based on a similar recipe and are just as awesome as the burgers and made me realise that the Swedish cuisine is very broad and contains many different products. Taste of Sweden will always be alive with vigour as I will be continuing to experiment with new ideas and developing new products from the outstanding Swedish cuisine.
